In the first years of the Lodz Ghetto, Ross and a Czech graphic artist made a photo essay of the lives of children in the Marysin settlement, the site of an education centre, an orphanage and a children’s colony. This remarkable album is now in the archives of Yad Vashem, Israel’s official Holocaust memorial.
